Dr Fouad Siddiqui BSc, MBBS, MRCP
Consultant Physician
Dr Siddiqui is a Consultant Physician with a specialist interest in Parkinson’s. He completed his undergraduate training at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals, London in 1996. Subsequently, he undertook General Internal Medicine training in the West Midlands. In 2001, he received his MRCP credentials from the Royal College of Physicians, London. He completed Specialist Registrar training in Geriatric Medicine and was awarded CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in 2007. He then began working as a Consultant Physician in 2007 at City Hospital, Birmingham.
Dr Siddiqui’s main specialist area is Parkinson’s. He has been the lead clinician in this field for many hospitals and clinics in the West Midlands. He has set up a class leading multi-disciplinary service, works with Parkinson’s UK and leads regular national audits. He has published articles related to Parkinson’s disease and has taken part in national Parkinson’s research trials. He teaches and lectures undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctors, therapists, nurses and the general public.

In 2015, Dr Siddiqui moved to work in the Worcester Acute Trust. He continued to lead the Parkinson’s service and set up a clinical supervision group for the multi-disciplinary team. In 2020, Dr Siddiqui moved to work in Moseley Hall Hospital.
Dr Siddiqui’s other specialist areas include stroke, frailty, spasticity, osteoporosis/orthogeriatric and dementia. He has worked in Acute General Medicine for over 20 years and continues to update his clinical skills and practice by attending relevant accredited courses and conferences.
